Crappie took a whipping from the nasty cold then warm yo-yo (normal late Feb). Shad kill is real — lots noticed, still a drop in the bucket vs what’s left. Haydn Paddlefish; Matt and Christy on nice blues; some dock Crappie reports.
Twin Bridges / rivers
Moonshine swimming minnow on pink-and-white 1/8 or 1/16 oz head; cable-guard weedless heads (four colors/sizes) for stump/brush. Dark dock spots. Whites should be great in rivers. Trolling: Crappie Magic or All American Rattler; shallow — Crappie Magic with big split shot ~16" ahead to tick rocks. Underused: 1/8 oz Scrounger with 2½" Moonshine or Old School (black/chartreuse) Lucky Bug, optional split shot ahead, slow across bottom.
